New on the website: an interactive map of species!!!

One of the objectives of the Rare and Endangered Species of Mining Massifs (ERMines) project, carried out by Endemia, IRD and IAC, and funded by CNRT, was to update the list of threatened species on mining sites in New Caledonia. The project doubled the number of known microendemic species on mined areas.

In order to highlight this richness of the flora, we are making available to everyone on our website an interactive map that allows you to view and download the list of species present on each mining massif.

The project has even been enriched, since you will also be able to discover the species present in your municipality, in the protected areas, the areas listed by UNESCO, the customary areas...

You will have access in a few clicks to the list of species present, their status on the IUCN red list, their regulatory protection and their descriptions. By connecting to your Endemia account, you can also download the list of species.
